Pacific Beach Hit and Run Driver at Large, Bicyclist Lindsay Epstein Hospitalized
SAN DIEGO, CA (April 21, 2021) – Monday night, bicyclist Lindsay Epstein sustained injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Ingraham Street near Fortuna Avenue.
According to San Diego Police Officer John Buttle, the incident happened at around 10:20 p.m. Moreover, it occurred on Ingraham Street in Pacific Beach, south of Grand Avenue.
Reports revealed that a 43-year-old female bicyclist headed south on Ingraham Street. Then, a dark, four-door SUV struck her from behind.
Consequently, responders transported the victim to a hospital with a fractured skull and major brain bleeding.
Also, authorities confirmed that the suspect vehicle was last spotted going south on Ingraham Street with front-end damage from the crash.
Currently, Ms. Epstein’s brother says his sister sustained head injuries. As a result, she is now in a medically induced coma to help with the healing process.
