Linda Lefler of Costa Mesa Fatally Struck on Fairview Road [Costa Mesa, CA]

Costa Mesa, CA (June 17, 2022) – On Wednesday, at about 9 p.m., 64-year-old Linda Lefler of Costa Mesa was fatally struck while crossing Fairview Road.

The fatal hit-and-run collision took place south of Baker Street.

Officers say Linda Lefler was not in a crosswalk when she was hit. Unfortunately, she died at the accident scene.

Witnesses say the involved vehicle is possibly a silver Toyota sedan, which sustained moderate damage to the front end and its windshield.

The authorities did not give a description of the motorist.
