NCIS: Los Angeles Star Hospitalized after Hollywood Crash near Orange Grove Avenue
HOLLYWOOD, CA (July 2, 2018) – An Oscar-winning actress and two other people were injured after three vehicles collided in Los Angeles.
As per reports, the Los Angeles Fire Department received 911 calls about the incident on Monday afternoon. Emergency crews were sent to the 7800 block of Fountain Avenue near Orange Grove Avenue, where a collision involving three vehicles was reported.
73-year-old NCIS: Los Angeles star, Linda Hunt, was attempting to turn left when the black BMW SUV she was driving collided with a car and another SUV.
Witnesses escorted Hunt, who was visibly shaken, to a lawn chair on the sidewalk while waiting for the paramedics. The actress was evaluated at the scene, where it was determined that she needed to be taken to the hospital. The other drivers involved were also evaluated and did not need hospitalization.
As of Tuesday, Hunt was reported to be recovering well after sustaining minor and non-life-threatening injuries.
An investigation is ongoing to determine the factors that contributed to the collision. No other information has been released to the public at this time.
