LINDA, CA – Woman Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Montclair Avenue

Fatal Pedestrian Collision on Montclair Avenue in Linda

 
LINDA, CA (February 21, 2019) – Thursday morning, a woman was killed in a pedestrian accident on Montclair Avenue. Her name has not yet been released.
 
The fatal incident happened around 7:38 a.m. at the intersection of Montclair Avenue and Hammonton Smartville Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a motorist hit a female pedestrian, sending the victim underneath the vehicle.
 
Responding fire crews extricated the woman’s body from underneath the vehicle. Life-saving efforts were performed but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
 
No identifying information on either party is being released at this time. It is also unknown whether any charges were filed and liability has not yet been determined.
 
Further investigation is underway.
