Lincoln Barr, John J. Rizzi, John H. Moore Involved in Road Crash on 82 Freeway near Selah
PENDLETON, WA (June 22, 2018) – A man of Pendleton was injured in a multiple car crash on 82 Freeway Frriday afternoon near Selah.
The Washington State Patrol stated that 23-year-old John J. Rizzi of Yakima was driving a black 2009 Honda Civic west on 82 Freeway near milepost 27 when the car drifted into the other lane at around 4:30 PM. The Honda then struck a white 2016 Chevrolet Suburban driven by 51-year-old John H. Moore of Oregon. This caused the Chevrolet to cross the median and veer into the eastbound lanes, before crashing Lincoln Barr and his 2015 Toyota Rav4.
Barr was the only one injured. The state patrol did not disclose the severity of his injuries but an ambulance rushed him to Astria Regional Medical Center in Yakima. Moore and his two passengers were not injured, but the crash totaled the vehicle. Rizzi was able to drive away, but he was cited by the Washington State Patrol cited for improper lane travel.
