Lillie Cora Hurt in 2-Vehicle Collision on Highway 21 [Carter County, MO]

Carter County, MO (October 16, 2024) On Saturday evening, 18-year-old Lillie Cora of Grandin and 26-year-old Jarret Trube of Doniphan were hurt in a 2-vehicle collision on Highway 21.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), the traffic crash happened at about 7:50 p.m.on Highway 21 in Carter County.

Reports say that an SUV pulled out of a parking lot and attempted to turn around, moving into the path of a motorcycle.

Authorities say that the motorcycle driver and passenger were hospitalized following the serious collision. Officials identified the motorcyclist as Trube, and his passenger Cora.

Officials say that EMS transported them to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Neither was wearing a safety device at the time of the crash.

The SUV driver was not injured, according to authorities.
