Via Del Oro DUI Crash Kills 60-Year-Old Los Angeles Man
Los Angeles, CA (September 3, 2022) – On Thursday, the authorities arrested Lilibeth Gonzalez, 35, of Los Angeles, in a Whittier Boulevard fatal hit-and-run crash.
The traffic accident happened at about 11:15 p.m. near the intersection with Via Del Oro, wherein a man was hit by a 2018 Chevrolet Malibu while crossing the street.
Immediately, the paramedics responded and tried to revive the victim but he died at the scene.
The driver, Lilibeth Gonzalez, initially fled the scene but the officers later found her walking on foot in the area of East Allston Street. Then, they handcuffed her and placed in a police cruiser.
Lilibeth Gonzalez faces charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and hit-and-run.
