Brandon M Ault Faces Charges of Negligent Driving for Collision on 5 Freeway
LEWIS COUNTY, WA (February 18, 2018) – Four cars were involved in an accident on Interstate 5 near milepost 63 in Winlock, on Sunday afternoon around 1 PM.
39-year-old Brandon M Ault was driving in a 2001 GMC Yukon toward stopped traffic, when he tried to avoid a collision, but crashed into three stopped cars: a Subaru Forester, Pontiac G6, and a Kia Soul.
The Grayland man was not injured in the collision, but his 45-year-old female passenger from Tacoma, and a 65-year-old woman behind the wheel of the Subaru were both injured and transported to Providence Centralia Hospital.
Ault is facing charges of negligent driving, as WSP Troopers state that he was driving too fast for conditions. All vehicles were totaled except for the Kia. No other information has been released at this time.
