45-Year-Old Levi Fackrell Dies in Dumont Dunes Off-Highway Collision [San Bernardino County, CA]

San Bernardino County, CA (November 14, 2024) –  45-year-old Levi Fackrell of Las Vegas, Nevada, was killed in a Dumont Dunes off-highway collision Sunday afternoon.

It was about 1:30 p.m. on November 10 when the deadly accident happened within the area’s off-highway vehicle area.

Troopers said Levi Fackrell was driving a northbound 2020 Jeep Gladiator with three passengers, a 41-year-old Las Vegas woman, an 8, and a 7-year-old kid both from Las Vegas.

Levi Fackrell lost control of the Jeep and veered off a steep dirt embankment. The Jeep struck the ground and overturned.

Responding officers declared Fackrell dead at the scene while the passengers sustained minor injuries and were transported to Sunrise Medical Center in Las Vegas.

Investigators do not believe alcohol or drugs were factors in the fatal crash and request anyone with further information to contact Officer W. Benson at the California Highway Patrol Barstow Area office at (760) 255-5900.
