Letha Frost and Margaret Reavis Dies in Tragic Accident on Highway 31 [Tyler, TX]

Tyler, TX (September 23, 2023) On Friday morning, 49-year-old Letha Frost of Tyler, and 59-year-old Margaret Reavis of Texarkana died after a tragic accident on Highway 31.

According to Texas DPS, the fatal rear-end crash happened around 10:52 a.m. at Highway 31 and FM 757.

Reports say that both females died, while a 3-year-old child was taken to Children’s Hospital in Dallas with incapacitating injuries.

Officials say that a Dodge Ram 3500, driven by 26-year-old Ryan Wilcoxson Jr. of Tyler crashed with the gray Honda Accent, Reavis was driving eastbound.

Authorities say that Reavis attempted to slow the car for a U-turn, however, she crossed in front of Wilcoxson, causing a collision. Officials say that Reavis’s Honda was on the left lane, while Wilcoxson’s Dodge was on the right lane.

Medics transported Wilcoxson to Christus Mother Francis in Tyler with non-incapacitating injuries.

Authorities are investigating the fatal crash.
