Jefferson City, MO (September 21, 2024) On Wednesday morning, 55-year-old Leslie Turek from Columbia, and 19-year-old Elleigh Wood of Hallsville were seriously hurt after a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 63.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), the four-car collision occurred at 7:51 a.m. on Highway 63, just south of Renz Farm Road.

A 2016 Freightliner Cascadia, unable to brake in time, crashed into the back of the Honda Civic. The impact sent the truck into the rear and left side of the Honda HRV, which then spun and hit the Toyota Camry.

Meanwhile, the driver of the Honda Civic, identified as Wood, and the driver of the Honda HRV, identified as Turek, both sustained serious injuries and were transported to local hospitals by EMS.
