Leslie Salas Dominguez Killed in Highway 281 Collision [San Antonio, TX]

Highway 281 Hit-and-Run Crash Kills Three People

San Antonio, TX (November 23, 2024)Leslie Salas Dominguez, 25, Yareli Salas Dominguez, 22, and a 61-year-old man, were killed in a Highway 281 collision Friday morning.

The deadly three-vehicle crash happened around 4:50 a.m. between South Flores Street and Roosevelt Avenue.

According to the authorities, a 46-year-old driver was aggressively speeding when they rear-ended a car. That car was pushed into wrong-way traffic where it was broadsided by an oncoming vehicle. 

Leslie Salas Dominguez, Yareli Salas Dominguez, and the 61-year-old man were declared dead at the scene. 

Moreover, a 56-year-old woman in the third car was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

The suspect initially fled on foot, but the authorities eventually found and arrested him. He will be charged with failure to stop and render aid resulting in death. 

SAPD is investigating this deadly collision.
