Woman Injured in West Adams Fatal Hit-and-Run Crash
Los Angeles, CA (April 13, 2024) – Leonardo Sanchez Palomar was killed following an Adams Boulevard collision Thursday night.
LAPD officers responded around 11:30 p.m. to the hit-and-run crash on the 4800 block of Adams Boulevard and Harcourt Avenue in West Adams.
When they arrived, the authorities determined that a vehicle driving at a high rate of speed struck the vehicle driven by the victim and then crashed into a nearby building.
Troopers declared Leonardo Sanchez Palomar deceased at the scene while a woman traveling in another vehicle was transported to a hospital.
Meanwhile, witnesses said the second vehicle’s driver ran away from the scene.
