TEMPE, AZ (September 25, 2023) – Saturday morning, authorities arrested Leonardo Alans after a crippling vehicle crash on Rural Road near Rio Salado Parkway.

According to police reports, the incident happened at around 2:10 a.m. on Rural Road near Rio Salado Parkway.

According to reports, a BMW ran a red light and collided with an eastbound Honda sedan.

As a result, responders transported a passenger of the Honda to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Moreover, officers arrested and booked the BMW driver on three counts of aggravated assault and three counts of endangerment.
