4 People Hurt in Jefferson City Traffic Accident on 3800 Highway 50
JEFFERSON CITY, MO (August 5, 2024) – Friday, Leo Potter and three other people sustained injuries in a startling multi-vehicle crash on 3800 Highway 50.
Reports said that the incident happened at around 2:54 pm in the 3800 block of Highway 50.
According to the Jefferson City Police Department, a 2013 Honda Pilot failed to slow down in time and collided and rear-ended a Toyota Corolla. Then, the force of the crash pushed the Toyota to strike a 2022 Ford Escape, which in turn rear-ended a 2017 Toyota 4-Runner.
Responders transported the driver of the Toyota Corolla, identified as 22-year-old Potter, the driver of the Ford, identified as 32-year-old Cody Renken, the driver of the Toyota 4-Runner, identified as 50-year-old Victoria Slicker, and a passenger of the Corolla, to a hospital with unknown injuries.
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
Due to the limited information available, the Jefferson City Police Department continued to investigate the crash.
