Leeann Nicole Forgason Killed in Tucson Pedestrian Accident
Tucson, AZ (September 7, 2020) – On Saturday, 33-year-old Leeann Nicole Forgason died in a pedestrian accident on West Grant Road and North Jackrabbit Avenue.
Police said Operations Division West officers responded to a crash with a seriously injured victim at around 8 PM.
Upon arrival, Tucson Fire medics gave treatment to the pedestrian. However, the authorities later pronounced the victim dead on the scene.
After conducting interviews, detectives determined Forgason was struck by a vehicle traveling westbound when she attempted to cross West Grant Road from south to north.
Moreover, the driver remained on the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
Impaired Driver Enforcement Unit officer confirmed the driver was not impaired at the time of the crash.
Also, speed does not appear to be a factor.
Though, police said it is unknown if Forgason was impaired.
Meanwhile, authorities did not arrest or cite anyone.
