Lee Smith Dead in Enumclaw Car Accident
ENUMCLAW, WA (March 7, 2019) – A 59-year-old Enumclaw male resident died in a crash with a pickup truck on March 4, south of Buckley.
Lee Duane Smith lost control of his Harley Davidson while driving north on Highway 165 about 4:35 p.m. in the Burnett Area. As a result, Smith drove across the center line and struck a southbound pickup truck.
42-year-old Everett E. Riggs from Buckley, the pickup’s driver, did not sustain any injuries.
According to authorities, Smith probably drove at a high speed before the collision.
As a result of the crash, Highway 165 was shut down for more than four hours.
