Leah Olinger of Vancouver Suffers Injuries in Highway 503 Accident [Five Corners, WA]

Five Corners, WA (October 22, 2021) – On Thursday, 35-year-old Leah Olinger of Vancouver, suffered injuries in an accident on Highway 503 involving 60-year-old Anatoli Shula, also of Vancouver.

 The officers received the crash report at 6:32 a.m. at the intersection with Northeast 99th Street.

Olinger was crossing the freeway against a red crossing symbol. 

At the same time, Shula was westbound on 99th Street in a Toyota Sienna, Shula had a green light to turn left onto southbound Highway 503 when he accidentally hit Olinger.

Rescuers rushed Olinger to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver. 

On the other hand, Shula was not injured in the incident.

Moreover, officers cited failure to yield to a traffic device as the cause of the accident.
