Injuries Reported in Marietta Head-On Accident on Bancroft Road and Country Lane
MARIETTA, WA (October 17, 2021) – Friday night, authorities arrested Lea Elizabeth Serena-Gole after an injury crash on Bancroft Road.
The incident occurred at around 11:00 p.m. on Bancroft Road and Country Lane.
According to reports, a 2007 Toyota RAV4 traveled south on Bancroft Road. Then, it failed to negotiate a curve and went across the centerline. Afterward, it collided with a northbound 2013 Jeep Wrangler head-on.
Responders took the Jeep driver to PeaceHealth St Joseph Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Meanwhile, authorities detained the 19-year-old Toyota Driver, Lea Elizabeth Serena-Gole of Bellingham at Whatcom County Jail. She received charges on suspicion of vehicular assault. Also, the authorities confirmed that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
Towing services hauled both vehicles from the scene.
