Lawrence Foutch Dead in Horrific 3-Vehicle Crash on Highway 120 [Fresno, CA]

1 Person Dead in Fresno Multi-Vehicle Accident on Highway 120 near Meadowlark Lane

FRESNO, CA (August 15, 2024) – Wednesday morning, Lawrence Foutch died in a horrific three-vehicle crash on Highway 120 killed one person.

The incident happened at around 7:30 a.m. on Highway 120 near Meadowlark Lane.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a westbound Hyundai hatchback attempted to pass a 2018 Ford sedan and collided with the vehicle. Then, the force of the crash pushed the Hyundai to slightly rotate and collided with an eastbound 2018 Nissan pickup truck.

Responding paramedics pronounced the driver of the Hyundai, identified as 33-year-old Foutch, dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported the male driver of the Nissan to a hospital with minor injuries. Also, the female driver of the Ford sustained no injuries in the crash.

Authorities do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.

Meanwhile, the crash closed eastbound Highway 120, between River Road and Meadowlark Lane.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information available, the CHP continued to investigate the crash.
