Santa Clara, CA (September 11, 2022) On Saturday morning, a fatal crash on the Lawrence Expressway claimed the life of My Kin Phan.

Santa Clara police says that the fatal crash happened at around 6:55 a.m. Police closed the expressway between Monroe Street and Cabrillo Avenue.

Officials reopened the roadway at about 12:16 p.m.

Authorities investigating the incident say the accident was a single car crash, and a passenger in the vehicle, My Kin Phan, died in the collision.
