LAWNDALE, CA – One Trapped in 2-Vehicle Crash at Redondo Beach Boulevard and Prairie Avenue

Early Morning Two-Vehicle Wreck in Lawndale Leaves One Unconscious

 
LAWNDALE, CA (January 16, 2019) – One person was trapped following a two-vehicle crash early Wednesday morning in Lawndale.
 
The crash happened a little before 2:00 a.m. at the intersection of Redondo Beach Boulevard and Prairie Avenue.
 
According to an initial log, a black Chevrolet Silverado and a black Honda collided for unknown reasons. Los Angeles County Fire Department officials responded to the scene and found one occupant who was trapped inside a vehicle and was unconscious.
 
The extent of injuries sustained and the condition of the patient were not immediately available.
 
No road closures were reported.
 
An ongoing investigation continues to determine the ultimate cause of the accident and liability.
