WSP Investigates Fatal Pedestrian Crash on Highway 97
Toppenish, WA (March 8, 2023) On Tuesday morning, 47-year-old Lauro Barrios of Wapato died after a fatal pedestrian crash on Highway 97.
Officials say that a car fatally struck Barrios, who was running on the road along Highway 97.
WSP says that Barrios succumbed to his injuries during transport to Yakima Memorial Hospital.
WSP is investigating the fatal pedestrian crash and have not released additional information at this time.
