POTTER COUNTY, TX (October 17, 2023) – Saturday morning, Laura Arredondo died in a horrific rollover crash on US 87 near Amarillo.

The incident happened at around 2:30 a.m. on US 87 near Amarillo.

According to reports, a 2003 GMC Sierra traveled northwest on US 87, ten miles north of Amarillo.

Then, the GMC veered off the road, drove into the center median in a side skid, went off the center median, and overturned across the southbound lanes.

As a result, the 33-year-old passenger from Dumas who wasn’t wearing a seatbelt was ejected from the car.

The authorities declared Arredondo dead at the scene. Meanwhile, after receiving treatment at the scene, the driver was later released.
