Phoenix, AZ (August 18, 2024) – On Friday, 47-year-old Latisha Sterling died in a crash on 67th Avenue and Indian School Road.

Shortly before 9:30 p.m. on Friday, police responded to a crash near 67th Avenue and Indian School Road. 

Upon arriving at the scene, officers found a woman, identified as 47-year-old Latisha Sterling, lying on the roadway with injuries. 

She was quickly transported to the hospital, where she later passed away. 

Initial reports indicate that Sterling was crossing Indian School Road outside of the designated crosswalk when the vehicle struck her. 

The driver stayed at the scene, and no signs of impairment were observed.
