1 Person Killed in Los Angeles Pedestrian Accident near 88th Street and Central Avenue
LOS ANGELES, CA (august 22, 2024) – Friday night, Latesha Washington died in a fatal hit-and-run crash near 88th Street and Central Avenue.
The incident happened at around 10:00 p.m. near the intersection of 88th Street and Central Avenue.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, a vehicle struck a 43-year-old female pedestrian who was crossing the roadway outside a marked crosswalk. Then, the vehicle fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.
