Wapato, WA (August 25, 2022) On Friday morning, a deadly collision on the 1300 block of Lateral A Road claimed a female passenger’s life.

Authorities say that the pickup truck struck a car carrying 2 women around 6 am, south of Union Gap.

Police say that impact of the crash caused the car to spin and fell off a canal.

Yakima County Sheriff’s Department says that the female passenger sustained fatal injuries, and died at the scene.

Meanwhile, paramedics transported both drivers to the hospital.
