Larry Sillman Fatally Hit By Car in Pedestrian Accident on Camino Santa Fe
La Jolla, CA (December 16, 2021) – On Wednesday, 77-year-old Larry Sillman died in a pedestrian crash on Camino Santa Fe near Miramar Road.
The deadly accident occurred just before 5:40 p.m. on Camino Santa Fe near Miramar Road.
San Diego police Officer John Buttle first reported the fatality.
According to reports, as the victim walked east across Camino Santa Fe, a 63-year-old man driving north hit him.
After performing CPR, responders took the victim to Scripps Memorial Hospital where he later died. Later reports say the La Jolla man stood by his vehicle when he was fatally struck.
Due to the limited information available, the authorities continue to investigate the crash.
