Person Dies in Trent Traffic Crash

Taylor County, TX (November 6, 2024)Larry Morris, 76, was killed in a scooter accident on NW 1st Street Monday night.

It was before 7 p.m. when the deadly traffic crash happened in Trent.

Troopers said Morris was riding his scooter when he crossed into the lane in front of a westbound vehicle. He was then hit by the vehicle.

The authorities responded to the crash and declared Larry Morris deceased.

Moreover, investigators said Morris’ scooter did not have lights or reflective material and the intersection was also unlit.

No other injuries have been reported in this collision.
