PHOENIX, AZ (February 7, 2023) – Late Saturday night, authorities arrested 32-year-old Larrison James after a deadly hit-and-run crash on 19th Avenue and Greenway Parkway.
 
The incident happened at about 11:30 p.m. on 10th Avenue. According to reports, a vehicle crashed with a motorcyclist. Also, the impact threw the motorcyclist in the northbound lanes near the major cross streets of 19th Avenue and Greenway Parkway.
 
Reports confirmed that the motorcycle rider succumbed to injuries at the crash scene.
 
Meanwhile, the vehicle driver reportedly continued, made a U-turn, and parked in an apartment complex. However, a witness remained at the scene until the authorities arrived.
 
Eventually, 32-year-old Larrison James admitted to drinking before the crash. He confirmed that he “felt the effects of alcohol while driving and he fled the scene of the collision because he was afraid.”
 
Also, the preliminary breath test revealed that James blew a .222 after the crash.
 
Thus, officers booked Larrison James into jail on charges including second-degree murder hit-and-run resulting in death or injury.
