Los Angeles Police Department Motorcycle Officer Hospitalized after Crash on 170 Freeway
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA (November 14, 2019) – A Los Angeles Police Department officer suffered injuries in a motorcycle crash on 170 Freeway, Thursday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at about 5:55 PM. Due to unknown reasons, the motorcycle collided with a vehicle near Magnolia Boulevard.
Emergency responders rendered aid to the injured officer and later transported to a local hospital. As per reports, the officer’s injuries did not appear to be life-threatening. Meanwhile, it is unknown whether or not the driver stopped to cooperate with investigators.
The CHP continues to investigate the cause of the collision. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
