Los Angeles Police Department Motorcycle Officer Hurt after Crash on 14 Freeway
NEWHALL, CA (October 16, 2019) – A Los Angeles Police Department officer suffered injuries in a motorcycle crash on 14 Freeway, Wednesday morning.
According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the incident happened at about 9:30 AM. Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle and an LAPD motorcycle collided near Placerita Canyon Road.
The officer sustained minor injuries but did not require hospitalization. Authorities did not disclose the identity of the injured officer. Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
LAPD continues to investigate the cause of the crash. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
