LOS ANGELES, CA (February 28, 2021) – Friday night, LAPD officer Jose Anzora died from injuries he sustained in a crash on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
 
The incident occurred just before 8:00 p.m. on Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard and Trinity Street. According to reports, the officer was doing traffic control before the crash. A driver who tried to drive into the closed road hit the Mr. Anzora.
 
After the crash, the involved driver stayed at the scene and has been cooperative with the police.
 
Meanwhile, responders took the officer to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
