41-Year-Old Victorville Woman Fatally Injured in Multi-Car Collision near University Parkway
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (August 24, 2018) – A woman was killed early Friday morning following a multi-vehicle crash on the 215 Freeway. The victim was later identified as 41-year-old Victorville resident, Lanika Alexander.
As per reports, the incident took place at about 4:45 AM near University Parkway. 29-year-old Chamnan Phonn of Hesperia was driving a 2011 Ford van when he failed to stop for the traffic ahead and rear-ended a 2014 Ford sedan.
The impact caused a chain reaction involving at least five vehicles, including Alexander’s 2015 Toyota Prius. She was transported to the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center with major injuries. Unfortunately, she was pronounced dead by medical staff at 9:57 AM. No other injuries were reported by the authorities at this time.
