Los Angeles Auto Accident on 5 Freeway near Lake Hughes Road
LOS ANGELES, CA (October 5, 2020) – Sunday morning, a traffic crash on 5 Freeway near Lakes Hugh Road led to lane closures.
The authorities received a report of a crash before 11:20 a.m. on the southbound 5 Freeway near Lake Hughes Road. According to officers, a vehicle had crashed with a guardrail. Meanwhile, another vehicle drove over the side of the road.
“The initial call came out as all lanes were blocked due to the collision,” stated Officer Moses Marroquin with the CHP Traffic Management. “One vehicle went down the embankment about 15 feet, but we can’t confirm how many vehicles were involved.”
At around noon, the officials from the Los Angeles County Fire Department remained on scene.
