Lanes Closed after Tanker Truck Accident on Highway 128 [Calistoga, CA]

Tanker Truck Overturned in Accident near Foss Hill Road

CALISTOGA, CA (March 19, 2019) – Lanes were closed after a tanker truck crash on Highway 128, Tuesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 10:25 AM, near Foss Hill Road. Based on an initial report, a propane tanker truck overturned in the lanes. The cause of the rollover was not stated in the report.
The paramedics were requested for needed medical attention. They had not yet released a report about the injuries sustained by the involved motorists.
The whole roadway was closed as clearing and cleaning operations were performed by the hazmat team. An evacuation was also conducted in the area.
An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the accident to help identify the possible contributing factors. Additional information has yet to be released.
