Semi-Truck Overturns in Collision near Indiana Street

 
MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA (May 20, 2019) – Lanes were closed after a semi-truck crash on northbound 5 Freeway late Monday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 11:20 PM, near the Indiana Street off-ramp. Based on an initial report, the truck was found on its side in the lanes.
 
It collided with an SUV before it struck the center divider and jumped over to the southbound lanes. In addition, four other vehicles were involved in the crash.
 
The paramedics were requested for needed medical attention. They had not yet released a report regarding any injury sustained by the involved motorists.
 
All lanes were temporarily closed while rescue, clearing, and cleaning operations took place in the area.
 
Meanwhile, the cause of the collision remains unidentified. Authorities are unsure whether one of the drivers was at fault. Authorities ruled out impairment as a factor in the collision.
