Semi-Truck Hits Car in Collision near Cherry Avenue

 
FONTANA, CA (March 11, 2019) – Lanes were closed after a semi-truck crash on eastbound 10 Freeway, Monday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 3:56 AM, just east of Cherry Avenue. Based on an initial report, the truck pushed a silver Toyota Camry into the right side of the road. It was later on found against the guardrails in the area.
 
The paramedics were requested for needed medical attention. They had not yet released a report regarding any injury sustained by the involved motorists.
 
No. 3 and 4 lanes were temporarily closed while a clearing operation was conducted in the area. An investigation is ongoing to verify all initial information and determine liabilities.
