Four Vehicles Involved in Collision near Twitchell Dam Road
SANTA MARIA, CA (December 17, 2018) – Lanes were closed after a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 166, Monday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 6:30 AM, near the bridge to Twitchell Dam Road. Based on their report, four vehicles were involved in the incident. The circumstance that led to the pile-up was not yet known.
The paramedics were requested for needed medical attention. They had not yet released a report regarding any injury sustained by the involved motorists.
Several trucks were blocking the way when the authorities arrived. The eastbound and westbound lanes were closed while rescue and clearing operations were conducted in the area.
