WEST SACRAMENTO, CA (December 10, 2019) – Lanes were closed after a multi-car crash was reported on Highway 50 westbound on Tuesday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred near Highway 80. Reports showed that a big rig collided with multiple vehicles with multiple occupants. However, the total number of the involved vehicles is not known.
 
An oil spill was reported in the area and Caltrans reported that the crash damaged a guard rail.
 
Officials could not provide any additional information about the crash. The collision remains under investigation.
