10 Vehicles Involved in Collision near Day Creek Boulevard
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA (May 20, 2019) – Several lanes were closed following a multi-car crash on westbound 210 Freeway, Monday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 8:21 AM, just west of Day Creek Boulevard. Based on an initial report, ten vehicles were involved in the pile-up. The parties were identified as a blue Kia SUV, a white Toyota Camry, a semi bobtail truck van, a Honda, and five other unknown vehicles.
The paramedics were requested for needed medical attention. They had not yet released a report regarding any injury sustained in the incident.
A SigAlert was issued closing the HOV, No. 1 and 2 lanes while rescue, clearing, and cleaning operations took place in the area.
The cause of the major collision remains unknown. The investigation of the crash continues.
