Motorcycle and Sedan Involved in Collision near Cloverfield Boulevard
SANTA MONICA, CA (February 26, 2019) – All lanes were temporarily closed after a motorcycle crash on eastbound 10 Freeway, Tuesday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 4:44 PM, just east of Cloverfield Boulevard. Based on an initial report, a sedan was the other vehicle involved in the collision with the rider. The manner of the accident was not stated in the report.
The motorcycle rider was down in the incident and the paramedics were called for needed medical attention. They had not yet released a report regarding any injury sustained by the involved motorists.
A SigAlert was issued blocking traffic in all lanes while a clearing operation was conducted in the area. An investigation is ongoing to verify all initial information and determine liabilities. Additional information will be released once it becomes available.
