PITTSBURG, CA (March 7, 2023) – Sunday morning, a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 4 near Loveridge Road blocked lanes.
 
The incident happened at around 2:28 a.m. on eastbound Highway 4 near Loveridge Road.
 
According to reports, the incident started with a two-vehicle crash. Then, a third vehicle was involved in the incident. Also, a fourth vehicle struck a fire engine, and an ambulance that was responding to the initial incident.
 
Moreover, Contra Costa County Fire Protection District confirmed that the firefighters and medics at the scene were not hurt in the crash.
 
Furthermore, officers released no additional information about the victims of the crash.
