BELLINGHAM, WA (February 3, 2022) – Wednesday night, a crash on Interstate 5 and Iowa Street blocked lanes.
 
First responders came to the scene at around 5:00 p.m. The incident blocked all northbound lanes of Interstate 5, south of the Iowa/Ohio Street interchange.
 
Law enforcement and EMS personnel also responded to the scene.
 
At this time, the authorities haven’t disclosed whether the incident is an injury crash or not.
 
By 5:30 p.m., one lane reopened.
 
Eventually, reports said that multiple crashes in the area caused at least 1 patient to be transported to PeaceHealth St Joseph Medical Center.
 
Also, the authorities advised motorists of a 3-car crash in the northbound lanes north of the Old Fairhaven Parkway interchange.
