SEATTLE, WA (January 25, 2022) – Monday morning, Landyn Waff and another suffered injuries in a crash on 4th Street and Jackson Street.
 
A driver drove through the intersection and hit two pedestrians in a crosswalk. The incident happened about 7:45 a.m. on 4th Street and Jackson Street near Union Station.
 
After the crash, responders took the victims to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Police confirmed that the other injured person was a man who suffered a gash wound to his head.
 
At this time, the authorities haven’t disclosed information about the vehicle and its driver.
 
Meanwhile, 10-year-old Landyn Waff went airborne after the crash. He landed on the hood of the car before being thrown onto a nearby sidewalk. As a result, he sustained a concussion, bruising behind his eye sockets, and a knee injury.
 
“We were a few feet into the intersection and then there is this car coming,” SAID Sierra Waff, Landyn’s mom, who was not struck by the car said. “And you could see it coming and then all of the sudden it just floored just really fast.”
