Ferndale Crash Kills Lummi Reservation Residents Landry Lawrence and Darrian James
Ferndale, WA (May 21, 2021) – On Tuesday, authorities found 30-year-old Landry Lawrence and 23-year-old Darriann James, both from Lummi Reservation, inside a submerged car in Nooksack River.
Officers said the estimated time of the crash was between 7:20 and 7:40 pm on Monday.
The authorities located the vehicle after a pedestrian reported skid marks and debris leading toward the river.
Authorities added that Lawrence was the driver of the vehicle and James was his passenger.
