Fatality Reported in Amarillo Motorcycle Crash
Amarillo, TX (November 6, 2024) – 19-year-old Landon McGinnis was fatally injured following an Interstate 40 collision Monday evening.
It was around 6 p.m. when the collision between a motorcycle and another vehicle happened on Bell Street.
Troopers said the motorcycle driven by Landon McGinnis was traveling south on Bell Street while a 2003 Dodge Ram pickup was eastbound on Interstate 40 frontage road crossing Bell Street.
Investigators determined that the pickup has struck the motorcycle.
Sadly, Landon McGinnis, died at the crash scene.
The pickup driver was not injured.
Meanwhile, the Traffic Investigation Squad of the Amarillo Police Department is investigating this fatal collision.
