Sebastapol Fatal Crash Kills Lance Janssen of Santa Rosa
Sebastapol, CA (June 03, 2021) – On March 21, 54-year-old Lance Janssen of Santa Rosa died in a motorcycle crash on Occidental Road.
The fatal crash took place at east of State Route 116 and north of Sebastopol.
Officers said Chevrolet SUV drifted left to avoid a crash with Janssen’s Yamaha motorcycle.
At the same time, a Mercedes SUV driven in the eastbound lane collided into the right side of the Chevrolet.
Unfortunately, Janssen died after crossing over double yellow lines and hitting an SUV head-on.
The Chevrolet driver, her two juvenile passengers, as well as the Mercedes driver and her passenger were not injured in the accident.
