Lake Washington Boulevard Boat Collision Injures 5 People [Seattle, WA]

5 Injured in 2-Boat Hit-and-Run Crash on Lake Washington

Seattle, WA (August 23, 2022) On Saturday evening, 5 people were hurt in a 2-boat collision on Lake Washington Boulevard.

According to the Seattle Fire Department, the hit-and-run crash happened around 9:30 p.m. near the 800 block of Lake Washington Boulevard.

Reports say that a boat collided with another boat and the suspect vehicle fled the scene before responders arrived.

Authorities say that all 7 occupants of the crashed boat were accounted for, however, 5 adult women suffered injuries.

Paramedics transported the 5 women to a hospital for immediate treatment.

Witness says that the suspect boat did not have lights at the time of the 2-boat collision. The suspect’s vehicle stopped for a bit, then immediately fled the scene.

The Seattle Police Department is assisting with the investigation and has not released further information regarding the incident.
