LAKE ELSINORE, CA – Man Killed in Pedestrian Collision on Lakeshore Drive

54-Year-Old Man Fatally Struck by Vehicle near Adam Avenue

 
LAKE ELSINORE, CA (May 21, 2018) – On Monday evening, a pedestrian collision on Lakeshore Drive claimed the life of a 54-year-old Lake Elsinore man.
 
As per initial reports, the deadly collision was reported around 8:30 PM in the 17900 block of West Lakeshore Drive at Adam Avenue. Upon the arrival of firefighters and paramedics, they discovered a man unconscious at the scene.
 
Life-saving procedures were conducted, but the pedestrian had already succumbed to his injuries. His identity was not immediately available to the public pending notification of next of kin. The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and refused any medical treatment, but it was not reported if he sustained injuries.
 
It is still unclear how the collision unfolded and what factors are involved in the incident, but an ongoing investigation is expected to shed some light on the situation.
